Nile Adventure

Explore Egypt’s greatest landmarks on this 8-day adventure—from the Grand Egyptian Museum and Giza Pyramids to a scenic Nile cruise through ancient temples in Aswan, Edfu, and Luxor.

Day 01 - Tuesday

Departure from USA

Depart on an international flight to Cairo, Egypt.​

Day 02 - Wednesday

Arrival - Cairo

Arrive at Cairo international airport, meet and assist by Airport Rep. who will assist you through airport formalities (immigration and luggage). Then Transfer to your Hotel.

Day 03 - Thursday

Cairo

After breakfast, we tour the Grand Egyptian Museum, The largest cultural project in Modern Times. The museum houses the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts with entry to the Hall of King Tut-Ankh-Amon which displays 5000 pieces for first time with free time at the Museum

After we have a local lunch, drive nearby Giza to experience one of the seven wonders of the world, the Pyramids and the famous Sphinx and the temple nearby.  And then drive to see a panoramic view of the 3 pyramids together.

Day 04 - Friday

Aswan Nile Cruise – Aswan

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival you are met and transferred to the Nile cruise. Settle in and start the journey with full-board meals onboard.

This afternoon, a guided visit to the Temple of Philae on Agilkia Island — the sanctuary of Isis, dismantled and rebuilt when the High Dam flooded its original site.

After lunch, optional motorboat trip to a Nubian village.

Day 05 - Saturday

Aswan  - Kom Ombo - Edfu

After breakfast, enjoy a free morning or join an optional excursion to Abu Simbel, home to the magnificent temples built by Ramesses II. Famous for their colossal statues and remarkable solar alignment, the temples were relocated in the 1960s to protect them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.

In the afternoon, we sail toward Kom Ombo, where we will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the falcon-headed god. Guests will also have the opportunity to see the nearby Crocodile Museum, which displays ancient mummified crocodiles.

After our visit, we return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Edfu.

Day 06 - Sunday

Edfu - Esna - Luxor

Breakfast on board. Morning guided visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god — one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, begun in 237 BC. Return to the boat and sail north to Luxor through the Esna Locks; watch the lock transit from deck.

Evening guided visit to Karnak, the great temple complex of Amun-Ra and the largest religious complex of the ancient world.

Day 07 - Monday

Luxor

Optional sunrise hot-air balloon over the West Bank. If you book it, pickup is before dawn; you are back on board for breakfast.

After breakfast, guided visit to the West Bank: the Colossi of Memnon and the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs were buried in rock-cut tombs decorated with scenes from the Book of the Dead.

Late afternoon flight to Cairo.

Day 8 - Tuesday

Flight to USA

Transfer to international flight for our flight back Home.
